Received a letter of appreciation from the Governor of Pingtung County, Taiwan
President Ando visited Taiwan on January 30, 2024, and stated that Taiwan has greatly contributed to the advancement of Taiwan-Japan exchanges. Received a letter of appreciation from the Governor of Pingtung County. Hanamaki Hot Springs is currently accepting five internship students from Pingtung University. In May, we plan to purchase 2 tons of pineapples from Pingtung County, just as we did in 2021.
This event has been reported locally and is attracting a lot of attention.
Your company/Hanamaki Hot Springs Co., Ltd. has made great efforts to accept students from Pingtung University and to purchase pineapples from Pingtung Prefecture, greatly contributing to Taiwan-Japan exchanges and the development of our prefecture. In April 2021, Hanamaki Onsen purchased 6 tons of pineapples from Pingtung County as a token of gratitude for the support provided during the Great East Japan Earthquake. This time, we have newly purchased 2 tons of pineapples, and we plan to start providing them to customers from around May. Please enjoy the sweet and juicy pineapple shipped directly from Taiwan!

In addition, we accept internship students from Taiwan from five universities including Pingtung University. It is playing a major role as one of the efforts to attract foreign tourists, who have been increasing rapidly since the end of the coronavirus pandemic.
