Rose garden
Gorgeous throughout the four seasons,
A rose garden with approximately 450 varieties, where history and new life are nurtured
Construction began in 1958 on the site of the former Nanshaka-tan flowerbed, and the garden opened two years later in 1960. Covering an area of roughly 16,000 square meters, the garden is home to over 6,000 roses of approximately 450 varieties, which adorn the garden with vibrant colors and rich fragrance throughout the seasons. Some of the roses have been bred and certified as new varieties in the garden, and there is also a sundial flowerbed designed by Miyazawa Kenji.

A heart-warming moment with Iwate's local performing arts
Our group hotel, Hotel Koyokan, located within the park, hosts the Festival Square, where you can enjoy the Shishiodori (Deer Dance), Onikenbai (Demon Sword Dance), Morioka Sansa Dance, and other traditional dances. Be sure to enjoy these local performing arts, which will add color to your night on the trip. We will provide transportation to and from the group hotel.
