As a special exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the opening of Hanamaki City Museum, the exhibition looks back on the role that the magazine "Animage" played in the creation and development of many anime works through a wide range of magazine pages and valuable production materials, and introduces the Japanese anime culture that was founded by the creators of "Animage" in the same spirit as Studio Ghibli, and has continued to produce works to this day.
