The unveiling ceremony for the monument commemorating the achievement of Hanamaki Higashi High School's [Yusei Kikuchi and Shohei Otani] of simultaneously achieving double-digit wins in 2023 was held!
Yusei Kikuchi and Shohei Ohtani are world-famous major leaguers who graduated from Hanamaki Higashi High School.
To celebrate both players achieving double-digit wins in 2023, Hanamaki Onsenkyo has donated a new commemorative monument.
This monument was installed next to the "MLB AII-Star Game Selection Commemorative Monument" that was donated two years ago.
The unveiling ceremony will be held today, April 26, 2024, and from now on anyone will be able to freely view and photograph the exhibit.
